Great opportunity: we are hiring a core maker in Gadag, State of Karnataka. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills ₹23,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
