Pipe tig welder • Jamui, State of Bihar

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Jamui, State of Bihar. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. We are looking for own basic hand tools and PPE; proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring).
