Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sample machinist in Karur, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
