Argon welder • Kulgam, State of Jammu and Kashmir

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Kulgam, State of Jammu and Kashmir. The job is on a structural steel site. Ideally you have comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces; can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
