Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. On a typical shift you will building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Full-time with occasional weekends.
