Machinist — Sambalpur

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Sambalpur, State of Odisha. The job is at a busy garment factory. You should bring ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus; hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines; 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
