Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Your main tasks: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Full-time with occasional weekends.
