Slinger signaller — West Garo Hills

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
