Core maker • Saharsa, State of Bihar

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Saharsa, State of Bihar. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Ideally you have knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts.
