The role involves check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces.
