Steel fixer — Siang

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Siang, State of Arunachal Pradesh. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. We are looking for own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level; sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
