Horticulturist wanted in Shimoga

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Shimoga, State of Karnataka. The job is at a private estate garden. Day to day you will weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 3+ years on the tools preferred. ₹1,250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
