We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Ernakulam, State of Kerala. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. We are looking for aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements; sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing; willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
