Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Fazilka, State of Punjab. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. We are looking for basic cake decorating and piping skills; able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen. We offer ₹39,000 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off.
