Vacancy available: gas meter installer (Mizoram)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Saiha, Mizoram. You will be based in a gas distribution network. We are looking for physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders; sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing. On a typical shift you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
