Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Tumkur, State of Karnataka. What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day-to-day duties: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Full-time with occasional weekends.
