Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Dharwad, State of Karnataka. You will work in an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Part-time with flexible hours.
