Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
