Gas installation technician — Gandhinagar

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Gandhinagar, State of Gujarat. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. On a typical shift you will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. We are looking for sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing; valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration; comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
