Floor and wall tile fitter — West Khasi Hills

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya. You will work in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites On a typical shift you will grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. ₹27,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
