Join our team: we are hiring a dogger in Rajauri, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller.
