The role involves carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding. You should bring a good head for heights and steady balance; a driving licence is an advantage for site travel; willing to work outdoors in all weather. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
