The role involves grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; check for underground cables and services before digging; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
