Site carpenter — Bharatpur

Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Bharatpur, State of Rajasthan. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
