Urgent requirement: bar bender and fixer (State of Tamil Nadu)

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Tiruchirappalli, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour We are looking for sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing; able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
