Day-to-day duties: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine Ideally you have basic record-keeping and part-counting skills; able to stand for long hours on the shop floor.
