Natural gas fitter — Jammu

Now hiring: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Jammu, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
