Fabricator-welder — Chamoli

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chamoli, State of Uttarakhand. You will work on a structural steel site. We are looking for sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection; 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding. On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent 5+ years on the tools preferred.
