Immediate opening: we are hiring a site safety steward in Ukhrul, Manipur. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. 4+ years on the tools preferred. ₹24,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
