Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Bharatpur, State of Rajasthan. You will be based at a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Full-time with occasional weekends.
