Construction labourer — Sibsagar

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Sibsagar, Assam. You will be based with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On the job you will handle: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₹20,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
