Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Mayiladuthurai district, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₹22,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
