Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Ukhrul, Manipur. Ideal candidate: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) You will mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₹170 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
