Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
