Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Karur, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is at an auto components factory. We are looking for ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred; willing to work rotating day and night shifts; knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout. The role involves: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
