Requirements: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop The role involves replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place.
