Reinforcement fitter • Villupuram, State of Tamil Nadu

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Villupuram, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 4+ years on the tools preferred.
