Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Nicobar, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
