Gantry crane operator wanted in Garhwal

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Garhwal, State of Uttarakhand. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
