The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Ideally you have proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites; physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles; confident with standard crane hand signals.
