Now hiring: we are hiring a deboner in Nilgiris, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Your main tasks: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Six days a week, one day off.
