Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 1+ years on the tools preferred.
