Now hiring: single needle operator (Sikkim)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Pakyong, Sikkim. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens You will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
