Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Ganjam, State of Odisha. Day to day you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. You should bring own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools; proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks. Part-time with flexible hours.
