Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine 5+ years on the tools preferred.
