Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Banas Kantha, State of Gujarat. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Part-time with flexible hours.
