Fettler — Palghar

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Palghar, State of Maharashtra. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. We are looking for knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding; willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₹19,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
