Urgent requirement: uPVC door and window fabricator (State of Karnataka)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Chikmagalur, State of Karnataka. You will be based at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Your main tasks: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it You should bring accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres; able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop; comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
