Occupational health and safety officer • Bid, State of Maharashtra

Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bid, State of Maharashtra. You will work at a busy construction site. We are looking for minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites; comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces; sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations. Day-to-day duties: • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Part-time with flexible hours.
