Bar bender and fixer • North Goa, Goa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in North Goa, Goa. The job is on a busy residential building site. Your main tasks: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
